Frequently Asked Questions

Got Questions? We Have Answers.

Everything you need to know about admissions, fees, batch schedules, and field visit guidelines.

When do the upcoming batches commence?

ISLA operates multiple planned intake cycles throughout the academic year. Because cohorts are capped at 25–30 seats per program, applications close as soon as seats are allocated. We strongly advise applying at least 4–6 weeks prior to session commencement.

Are industrial port and warehouse visits included in the course fee?

Yes. All scheduled local port immersion visits, container freight station trips, and warehouse study tours are an integral component of the academic curriculum and are covered within the institutional course structure.

Can students from non-commerce or non-science backgrounds apply?

Absolutely. Logistics and shipping are interdisciplinary fields. Candidates with backgrounds in Humanities, Arts, Science, or Commerce are equally eligible for both Diploma programs and the BBA program, provided they meet the minimum aggregate requirements.

What documents are required during the screening session?

Candidates should have digital copies or photocopies of their 10th and 12th standard mark sheets, graduation degree certificate (if applying after college), a valid government ID proof (Aadhaar or Passport), and 2 passport-sized photographs.

What career placement support does ISLA provide?

ISLA maintains direct liaisons with leading liner shipping lines, 3PL logistics corporations, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. Students receive mandatory placement training, interview simulations, and on-campus recruitment drives before course completion.
